Frequently asked questions
Before you get stuck in.
Who is Moritura for?
For people who'd rather hear it to their face: adults 18 or over who've been stopped in their tracks by something. It might be a decision stuck on a loop, a conversation you keep putting off or a part of your life that no longer feels entirely chosen. You pick what to look at; Moritura makes sure you don't get agreed with for free.
Are you really going to roast me?
Yes. That's what you came for. Moritura makes fun of what you say and do, not of who you are, and it doesn't change its tone because the subject is a death or a breakup: no pity, no kid gloves. The only thing that stops it is you saying your life or someone else's is in danger right now; then the jokes stop and it tells you who to call.
Can I use Moritura in English?
Once it opens, yes. The first beta is planned for people aged 18 or over living in Spain, in Spanish or in English. Both versions will carry the same price, the same terms and the same rights, and you'll be able to switch language in the app, as you already can on this site. The language doesn't change where Moritura will be offered: Spain only, and by invitation only.
What do I get from the free conversation?
One opening conversation per person, no card and no sign-up. What comes out of it is your case file: facts, assumptions, a question you can correct, a provisional position and what could change it. You can review it and export it before you decide whether to pay. If the conversation hits its limit, it keeps what you've worked through and tells you what's still incomplete.
What does the paid work add?
Teaching and practice on the question you chose. You learn to separate facts from interpretations, check assumptions, look for evidence and compare alternatives. Then you practise with less help each time. The price, €59 with VAT included in a single payment, and the estimated effort are on the pricing page.
Do I have to come out with a decision?
No. You can end with a provisional decision, a reframed question, a specific gap in the evidence, a conscious postponement, no need to decide right now, or a decision to stop looking at it. Nobody demands an answer or a confidence level.
Do I have to use it every day?
No daily obligation, no streaks and no deadline to finish. The teaching and practice sessions are an estimate of the effort. You can pause and pick up exactly where your inquiry left off.
Am I talking to a person? Is this therapy?
You're talking to an AI. It isn't a conversation with a person, and nobody is watching it live. And no, it isn't therapy: it's not here to comfort you. It isn't a crisis service either, and it doesn't replace medical or psychological care or professional advice.
What happens to what I write?
It's stored on your device. To answer you, what's needed goes through Moritura's server and one AI provider, OpenAI or Google: the app tells you which before it asks your permission to send anything. It isn't sold, isn't used to train models and doesn't go into analytics. You can export it and delete it. Providers, retention periods and your rights are in the privacy policy.
Why is it called Moritura?
Because life is finite. That's a reason to look at what we take for granted, not a countdown or a sales pitch. Moritura doesn't decide what should matter most to you.
Can I start or buy?
Not yet. Moritura is still being prepared and hasn't opened: there's no beta running, no public sign-up, no waiting list and no date. The first beta is planned as private, by invitation, for people aged 18 or over living in Spain, in Spanish or in English. The planned price is €59, VAT included, in a single payment with no subscription, but you can't buy it today.
